Why Timely Feedback Is Important

I recently wrote about the importance of providing timely feedback to the recruiter if you are the candidate. Today I wanted to explain why it’s equally important for us to get that feedback for our client, the company, also known as your potential new employer.

Somewhat quickly after the interview is over, our client (the company), wants to talk to us (the recruiter). They want to find out how the candidate (you; the person they were interviewing) felt about the job, the process, and where their head is at in terms of if they plan to move forward. That’s why we want to hear from you as soon as you leave the building. We want that timely feedback.

I know you, the candidate, wants timely feedback from the company, but communication goes both ways. We, recruiters, need to hear back from both of you so we can help and/or properly mitigate any potentially negative situations.

So, give us a call and tell us what went well and what didn’t. Let us help. That’s what we’re here to do.
