This week a candidate asked me a question I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot of in the near future: “What’s the company’s vaccination policy?”
The client/company had not shared any requirements about a vaccination policy, but many major companies are now requiring vaccines. It’s a tricky subject and can be uncomfortable if the candidate is unable or unwilling to get vaccinated.
As a recruiter, it brought up a couple of key questions about the hiring process.
- Is this going to become part of the initial of the screen or interview process?
- Will it positively or negatively impact companies being able to attract and retain talent?
What are your thoughts? How do you think company’s vaccinations policies will affect the hiring process?
