What’s The Company’s Vaccination Policy?

This week a candidate asked me a question I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot of in the near future: “What’s the company’s vaccination policy?”

The client/company had not shared any requirements about a vaccination policy, but many major companies are now requiring vaccines. It’s a tricky subject and can be uncomfortable if the candidate is unable or unwilling to get vaccinated.

As a recruiter, it brought up a couple of key questions about the hiring process.

  1. Is this going to become part of the initial of the screen or interview process?
  2. Will it positively or negatively impact companies being able to attract and retain talent?
